In August 2012, the Australian Department of Industry, Innovation, Science, Research and Tertiary Education, and New Zealand Trade and Enterprise held a series of briefing sessions in most Australian capital cities and Wellington, New Zealand. These sessions provided an update on the progress of the SKA project, offered further information on the details of the work packages that will be available to external organisations, and detailed the process for interested parties to apply for co-investment funds from the Australian Government.
