The exhibition explores indigenous art and astronomy as part of the International Year of Astronomy.

"Ilgarijiri - things belonging in the sky", a collaborative project between astronomers of the International Centre for Radio Astronomy Research (ICRAR) and Yamatji Arts in Geraldton, was launched at the Geraldton Regional Gallery on 12 June 2009. The exhibition was on display at the Curtin University of Technology's new Chemistry and Resources Precinct until the end of October 2009.

The exhibition has moved to Canberra. The Australian Institute for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Studies (AIATSIS) is hosting the exhibition, and the launch took place on 27 November 2009. The exhibition, which runs until 29 January 2010, is free and open to the public.  More information on this phase of the exhibition is available at AIATSIS.
